The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information, regulatory compliance, and the optimization of accounting processes for our French subsidiary.
We are currently looking for a Financial Accounting Manager Italy to join one of the companies within OK Group. The mission of this role is to lead the accounting and financial oversight of our Italian subsidiary, ensuring the correct application of both local accounting regulations and IFRS, compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, coordination of audits, and the continuous improvement of financial processes.
Oversee and review the general accounting of the Italian subsidiary, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
Ensure the correct accounting treatment of transactions related to the vehicle fleet and other associated assets.
Coordinate and ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, as well as the preparation of statutory financial statements.
Review balance sheet reconciliations and profit and loss accounts, ensuring the timely resolution of discrepancies and outstanding items.
Coordinate reconciliations between operational and financial systems.
Ensure the correct application of the Group's IFRS standards, with a particular focus on IFRS 16 (Leases).
Review accruals, prepayments, provisions, and accounting estimates, analyzing variances against budget, forecast, and prior year.
Ensure compliance with local tax obligations and coordinate the preparation of tax filings.
Coordinate internal and external audits by preparing the required documentation and monitoring action plans.
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, actively participating in finance transformation and standardization initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree in Audit, Tax, or Finance is considered a plus.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Audit, or Senior Accounting roles, preferably within multinational environments.
Experience in accounting for vehicle fleets and related operations.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 16.
Experience in auditing, tax compliance, and financial control.
Solid knowledge of Italian accounting standards and corporate taxation.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Native-level Italian and professional English. Spanish will be considered an asset.
